[Full Name]Bookkeeper and BAS Agent

Meet your bookkeeper

A local bookkeeper who picks up the phone.

I'm [Name], a bookkeeper and registered BAS agent living and working on the South Coast. I started South Coast Bookkeeping SA to give local business owners something I think they deserve: a bookkeeper who knows them by name.

When you work with me, you work with me. No call centre, no handovers, no new face every quarter. I'll learn how your business runs, keep your books tidy, and tell you plainly what your numbers mean.

When I'm not reconciling accounts you'll find me [a local detail, e.g. walking the Bluff or watching the pelicans at the Murray Mouth].

How it works

Three simple steps to calmer books.

  1. A free chat

A relaxed 20-minute call or coffee. You tell me about your business and where things are at. No obligation.

  2. Get set up

I connect to your software, catch up anything that is behind, and we agree on a fixed monthly price.

  3. Your monthly rhythm

I reconcile, report and lodge. You get clear numbers each month and more time to run your business.

Kind words

What local business owners say.

  • I used to dread BAS time. Now it just happens, and I get a simple email telling me what I owe and when. Worth every cent.

    [Client name][Café owner, Victor Harbor]
  • I was eight months behind and embarrassed about it. She sorted the lot in a few weeks and never once made me feel bad.

    [Client name][Builder, Goolwa]
  • Having someone local who picks up the phone makes all the difference. She knows our business as well as we do.

    [Client name][Retail store, Port Elliot]

Next BAS due

30days

July to September quarter, due 28 October 2026

Clients of a registered BAS agent can often lodge later than these dates. One more reason to let me handle it.

Key dates

Never miss a deadline again.

  • BAS, July to September quarter
  • BAS, October to December quarter
  • BAS, January to March quarter
  • BAS, April to June quarter
  • STP finalisation for the financial year
  • Super for employees (Payday Super)

Standard dates for businesses lodging quarterly themselves. Your dates may differ; ask me if you are unsure.

Questions

Good questions, straight answers.

Anything else on your mind? Ask me directly; there are no silly questions about money.

How much does it cost?

Most clients are on a fixed monthly fee based on the size of their business and what they need. After our free chat I will send you a clear quote, so there are no surprise bills.

Which software do you work with?

Xero, MYOB and QuickBooks Online day to day. If you are still on spreadsheets or a shoebox, I can help you choose and set up the right one.

Do I still need an accountant?

Usually, yes. Your accountant looks after tax returns and advice; I keep your books accurate all year so their job is quicker and cheaper. I am happy to work alongside them.

I'm behind on my books. Can you still help?

Absolutely. Catch-up work is one of the most common things I do. We will work out what is outstanding and get you back on track step by step.

Do you only work on the South Coast?

Most of my clients are local and I am happy to visit in person. I also work remotely with businesses anywhere in South Australia.

Is my information kept safe?

Yes. As a registered BAS agent I follow the Tax Practitioners Board Code of Professional Conduct, and I use secure cloud software rather than email attachments wherever possible.
